Disappointing for Softails in general.

These are a well made high quality item. Unfortunately, it doesn’t fit my 2001 Softail as the front brake reservoir interferes with the ability to adjust it. Yes it bolts up ok, but that’s it, no adjustment! If the shaft top that rests on the hole was 20mm longer to the actual beginning of the mirror it would be fine. Have a close look at the images of the black one on this site. It’s clear that you cannot rotate it outwards/forwards. Oh, and if you think you could hang them under the bar, which I tried, the LEDs face downwards making them unacceptable for drivers or see clearly. I have western bars so this may not be an issue for other types of bars. Finally, as it is such a small mirror it is very difficult to adjust as the ball and socket is incredibly tight. I tried different lubricants but none freed it up. I fear that the mirror will brake trying to force it to adjust. Perhaps that is what happened to the cracked one displayed in easyr’s shop as I couldn’t budge it either. I thought three stars is a good rating for the quality of the item - not fitment (-1) nor function (-1).
